Cheryl has provided orthopedic physical therapy in Anchorage for the past 25 years. She previously owned Westchester Physical Therapy from 1991 through 1997 and opened South Anchorage Physical Therapy in 1999. 

She earned a Doctorate in Orthopedic Physical Therapy in 2002 and a Doctorate in Manual Therapy in 2006. She was APTA Board certified as an Orthopedic Clinical Specialist in 2000 and re-certified in 2010. Dissertations consisted of clinical trials comparing manual techniques and exercise treatments frozen shoulder, and core stabilization training compared with exercise protocols for chronic low back pain and conditions representative of instability. 

She practices Functional Dry Needling and has found it an excellent addition to the clinic. She is a Level 1 CrossFit Instructor and a CrossFit Endurance Training Instructor.

She enjoys training for and participating in triathlons and CrossFit training.
Bryan Kirkpatrick, PT, MS, OCS
Bryan was born and raised in Oregon. Upon graduation from high school, he spent 4 years in the U.S. Marine Corps, serving in the infantry and deploying overseas multiple times with duty that included Desert Shield a& Desert Storm, he returned to Oregon to pursue a career in physical therapy, earning a B.S. from Southern Oregon State College and a M.S.P.T, from Pacific University.

Bryan has practiced physical therapy in Oregon for 5 years and pursued many continuing education opportunities. He earned Board Certification in Orthopedic Physical Therapy Association in 2005 before moving to Alaska. 

He is especially interested in the treatment of cervical and lumbar spine impairments, and his experience includes treatment of clinical instabilities of the spine, post-MVA whiplash disorders, post-operative joint management and the development of exercise programs. 

In his free time,  Bryan enjoys family time, snowboarding, fishing and riding his motorcycle. He and his wife (also a physical therapist) have 2 daughters.
